How to Conduct Spot Trading on MGBX

I. Enter the Spot Trading Page

Step 1: Log in to the official website and select「Spot」, or open the MGBX APP and select「Trade」-「Spot」.
Step 2: Click the trading pair name in the upper-left corner of the trading page to enter the trading pair selection page.
Step 3: Search for and select the cryptocurrency you wish to trade, for example BTC/USDT.
Taking BTC/USDT as an example:
  • BTC: The base currency, i.e., the digital asset you wish to buy or sell.
  • USDT: The quote currency, used to express the trading price of BTC.
After selecting a trading pair, you can view the current market price, candlestick chart, order book, and other trading information.

II. How to Buy Cryptocurrency

On the spot trading page, select「Buy」and choose the appropriate order type according to your trading needs.

1. Limit Buy

A limit order allows you to set the price at which you wish to buy.
Steps:
  1. On the spot trading page, select「Buy」.
  2. Select「Limit Order」.
  3. Enter the price at which you wish to buy.
  4. Enter the purchase quantity.
  5. After confirming the order information, click「Buy」.
After the order is submitted, the system will match it according to market conditions. When a sell order that matches your specified price appears on the market, the order may be executed.
Note: A limit order is not guaranteed to be executed immediately. Actual execution depends on market price and liquidity.

2. Market Buy

A market order means buying at the currently executable market price, suitable for users who wish to complete the transaction as soon as possible.
Steps:
  1. On the spot trading page, select「Buy」.
  2. Select「Market Order」.
  3. Enter the purchase quantity or transaction amount (subject to what is displayed on the page).
  4. After confirming the order information, click「Buy」.
The system will match the order based on the available prices in the current market order book.
Note: The final execution price of a market order may differ from the price displayed at the time of placing the order due to market fluctuations and liquidity.

III. How to Sell Cryptocurrency

If you wish to sell digital assets you already hold, you can select「Sell」on the spot trading page.

1. Limit Sell

Steps:
  1. On the spot trading page, select「Sell」.
  2. Select「Limit Order」.
  3. Enter the price at which you wish to sell.
  4. Enter the sell quantity.
  5. After confirming the order information, click「Sell」.
After the order is submitted, it will await matching and execution according to market conditions.

2. Market Sell

Steps:
  1. On the spot trading page, select「Sell」.
  2. Select「Market Order」.
  3. Enter the sell quantity or transaction amount (subject to what is displayed on the page).
  4. After confirming the order information, click「Sell」.
The system will match the order at the currently executable market price.

IV. View Spot Orders and Trading Records

After submitting a spot trading order, you can view the spot order status and history on the orders page.
1. Current Orders
View orders that have not yet been fully executed, including unfilled and partially filled orders.
For orders that meet the cancellation conditions, you can cancel them as needed.
2. Order History
View historical order records such as executed and canceled orders.
3. Trade History
View the details of completed matched trades, including execution price, executed quantity, and other information.

V. View Spot Account Assets

After completing a trade, you can view the assets in your spot account at any time.
Steps:
  1. Click「Assets」.
  2. Select「Spot Account」.
  3. View the cryptocurrencies you currently hold, available balance, and asset valuation.
