1. Pre-Trading Setup
1. Download and Registration
Android download: Open the MGBX official website (www.mgbx.com), click the download icon in the upper right corner, scan the QR code that appears with your phone (scanning with your phone browser is recommended), tap [Download MGBX Mobile App], then follow the prompts to complete the download and installation.
iOS download: iOS users should search for "MGBX" in the App Store to download. Note that App Store IDs in some countries and regions may not be able to find the "MGBX" app. We recommend first clicking How to Download the App on iPhone to check whether downloads are supported in your region.
Registration and login: Open the MGBX App, choose to register with an email address or phone number, fill in the information as required on the page, and after completing registration, log in with your registered account. Here is an example using email registration: follow the prompts to enter your [Email] — [Read and agree to the MGBX User Agreement] — [Enter the email verification code] — set a [Password], and registration is complete.
Tips for beginners
- Use an email address or phone number that you can normally receive verification codes on.
- Set a sufficiently strong login password that is not reused on other websites.
- Keep your verification codes safe and never disclose your password or account verification information to anyone.
- If you have an invitation code, you can enter it during registration as prompted on the page.
2. Complete Identity Verification (KYC)
Identity verification: Note: Identity verification must be completed in the App.
Open the App, tap the user center icon in the upper left corner of the home page — tap the nickname/account at the top — [Identity Verification], tap [Verify Now] to enter the identity verification page, [Select ID Document Information] — select the country that issued your ID. You need to upload photos of your ID document, such as the front and back of your ID card. Follow the prompts on the page to complete the upload, [Submit for Review] — submit the information and wait for the verification result.
Note: If the system verification result is failed, please check the following:
- Valid ID: Make sure the submitted ID is a valid document from the region you selected.
- Clarity: Confirm that the ID image is clear and fully within the scanning frame.
- Face recognition: Make sure face recognition is performed in a well-lit place.
After completing the above checks, you can submit identity verification again.

Add a payment method: Open the MGBX App, tap the icon in the upper left corner of the home page, go to Personal Center - [General Settings] - [Payment Methods], tap Add Payment Method, select the corresponding payment method, upload your own payment QR code and account, and the addition is complete.

2. How to sell crypto with one click?
- Open the App, tap [C2C Buy Crypto] - [One-Click Buy] - [Sell], and select the digital asset you want to sell;

3. How to Deposit Crypto
Depositing crypto means transferring digital assets from another exchange to the MGBX platform, similar to a bank transfer. A gives B a bank card number, B takes this card number to the bank and deposits money into the bank card designated by A. This process can be compared to depositing crypto.
When depositing crypto, all digital assets require a deposit address; some digital assets not only require a deposit address but also require a tag (also known as Tag/Memo).
When depositing, be sure to keep the coin name consistent and the network consistent between deposit and withdrawal. The platform currently does not support digital assets such as USDT on BSC.
Deposit steps:
- Enter the App home page and tap "On-Chain Deposit" or "Assets".
- On the Assets page, tap "Deposit".
- Select the coin (e.g., USDT), then select the corresponding on-chain USDT.
- Tap "Copy Address" or "Save QR Code".
- Enter the address in another wallet or scan the QR code to complete the deposit.
Note: When depositing, be sure to verify the network and address to ensure they are correct, so as to avoid situations that cannot be recovered.
4. How to Do Spot Trading?
After successfully purchasing a digital asset (e.g., USDT), this digital asset will enter your [Funding Account]. If you want to trade other digital assets, you need to perform a "fund transfer" to transfer funds to the [Spot Account] for more trading.
Fund transfer: Enter the MGBX App home page and tap [Assets] at the bottom - [Transfer], fill in the amount - [Confirm], and transfer the digital assets you need to trade from the [Funding Account] to the [Spot Account] to experience more trading.
1. What is spot trading?
Spot trading refers to the trading of one digital asset against another digital asset. For example, in the BTC/USDT trading pair:
- Buy BTC: Use USDT to buy BTC.
- Sell BTC: Sell the BTC you hold and exchange it back for USDT.
- Profit and loss changes: Affected by factors such as buy and sell prices, trading quantity, and fees.
Unlike futures trading, spot buying generally does not involve forced liquidation risk due to the use of leverage, but the digital assets you hold may still incur losses due to falling market prices.
2. How to complete your first spot trade?
Using BTC/USDT as an example, here is the general operation process.
Step 1: Enter the spot trading page
Open the App, go to the [Trade] page — select [Spot] — tap the trading pair box in the upper left corner [BTC/USDT];
Step 2: Choose the order type
- Limit order: Set the buy price yourself.
- Market order: Matched at the market executable price.
Before your first operation, confirm that the trading account has sufficient available balance.
Step 3: Fill in the trading quantity and place the order
Enter the purchase quantity or amount, verify the order information, tap "Buy BTC" and confirm.
3. How to sell BTC?
- Enter the BTC/USDT trading page.
- Switch to "Sell".
- Choose a limit order or market order.
- Fill in the BTC sell quantity.
- Verify the price, quantity, and fees, then submit.
- Check the trade history and USDT balance.
4. Common Spot Trading Questions
- Why can't I buy? Check the trading account balance, trading pair status, minimum order amount, and quantity limits.
- Why hasn't my order been filled after placing it? The limit price has not met the filling conditions, or market liquidity is insufficient.
- Why is my balance different from what I expected? Check fees, funds frozen by unfilled orders, and other asset changes.
- How do I cancel an order? Go to current orders, find the cancellable order and cancel it; the portion that has already been filled cannot be reversed by canceling.
5. Futures Trading Tutorial
1. What is futures trading?
Futures trading is a way of trading based on changes in contract prices. Perpetual futures usually have no fixed expiration date.
- Going long (opening long): Expecting the price to rise, establish a long position.
- Going short (opening short): Expecting the price to fall, establish a short position.
- Closing a position: End all or part of the position through the corresponding closing operation.
- Margin: Funds used to support a futures position.
- Leverage: Control a position with a larger notional value using less margin, while amplifying risk.
2. Contract types:
Perpetual futures: Perpetual futures have no expiration date. Users can hold them indefinitely and close positions themselves.
Event contracts: An innovative simplified trading product launched by MGBX. Users do not need to set leverage, margin, or complex parameters. They only need to judge whether the price of a specified asset (such as BTC or ETH) will rise or fall within a specific time period to participate in trading. The product design is simple and intuitive, suitable for all types of users.
3. How to make your first futures trade?
Step 1: Enter the futures page, using perpetual futures as an example
Open the App, go to the [Futures] page, select [Perpetual Futures], and tap the trading pair you want to learn about, such as the BTC/USDT perpetual contract. USDT-margined contracts are linear contracts that use USDT as margin and settle profits and losses in USDT.
Step 2: Set the margin mode and adjust the leverage multiplier
Margin mode: Cross and isolated
Position mode: Combined and split
Leverage multiplier: The leverage multiplier depends on the position size. The larger the notional value of the position, the lower the available leverage multiplier, and the higher the multiplier, the greater the risk.
Step 3: Transfer funds to the USDT futures account
If you want to trade perpetual futures, please transfer funds to the USDT-margined futures account.
Step 4: Place an order to open a position
Fill in the order information and choose [Open Long] or [Open Short].
The order area supports multiple order types. Set the price and quantity you want to fill and place the order. Once the market price reaches or is better than the price you set, the order will be filled.
"Open Long" means buying the contract at a suitable price and waiting for the market price to rise before selling (closing) to earn the difference, similar to spot trading, referred to as "buy first, sell later".
"Open Short" means selling the contract first at a suitable price and waiting for the market price to fall before buying (closing) to earn the difference, referred to as "sell first, buy later".
Step 5: Positions
All your holdings will be displayed here. You can view the estimated liquidation price, margin, and unrealized PnL of your current position in real time. Closing: You can directly close at market price or close at a limit price from the position section.
4. How to set take-profit and stop-loss?
- Take-profit: When the price reaches the pre-set profit condition, the corresponding closing operation is triggered.
- Stop-loss: When the price reaches the pre-set loss control condition, the corresponding closing operation is triggered.
- Check again after setting: Trigger price, order price, trigger basis, position quantity, and order status.
The actual execution price of take-profit and stop-loss may be affected by market volatility, liquidity, and order rules, and it cannot be guaranteed that the order will be filled at the specified price.
5. Risks you must understand in futures trading
- High leverage may lead to rapid margin losses.
- During severe market fluctuations, positions may be forcibly liquidated.
- Funding rates, fees, and slippage will affect actual profit and loss.
- Both going long and going short can result in losses.
Note: Futures trading involves leverage and forced liquidation risks. Beginners should understand the rules first before considering participation; if you do not yet understand margin, liquidation, and stop-loss rules, you should not rush to open positions.
6. How to Protect Your MGBX Account
Security Center path:
- Tap the upper left corner on the App home page — enter Personal Center
- Common Services - Security Center, where you can bind and modify: Identity Verification - Passkeys - Phone Number - Email - Google Authenticator - Password, etc.
Use a strong password:
Your password should contain a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid simple passwords or reused passwords, and do not tell anyone. Please change your password regularly, especially if you suspect any unauthorized access.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA):
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of verification at login. Even if your password is leaked, an attacker still needs access to your 2FA device to log in. MGBX supports authenticator apps (such as Google Authenticator), SMS verification, and passkeys. Passkeys are a newer standard that use device biometrics (fingerprint or face) as login credentials.
